Delatim Communications has a successful track record in the part it has played in a number of major telecommunication projects within the rail industry. Most recently we are currently working on or have successfully completed the following projects;
Kings Cross Redevelopment
Delatim Communications installed and relocated the OPO and security cameras as part of the Kings Cross station redevelopment. Delatim were also required to keep the existing CCTV system operational at all times throughout the different phases of the project.
DLR City Airport Extension
Delatim Communications installed a new fibre Open Transport Network (OTN) throughout the whole extension. In addition Delatim Communications installed the communications systems on all of the 4 new stations including CCTV, PA, Help Points and fibre splicing. Delatim were also responsible for commissioning the new system and linking back to the Poplar Control Centre.
Metronet Station Modernisation
Delatim Communications have installed a complete new communications system on numerous LUL stations over the past 3 years. Delatim Communications have installed new CCTV, PA (including Long Line), Help Points, CIS, SMS and BBMS systems during station closures and engineering hours.
Stratford Station Upgrade
Delatim Communications have been awarded the communications package to upgrade the Network Rail communications systems as part of the 2012 Olympic Games.
The project involves designing, installing, test and commissioning a new CCTV, PA, CIS and Help System to a new control room.

St Pancras
Delatim Electrical installed all the emergency lighting and PA system for the CTRL platforms 1 – 4 as part of the St Pancras/CTRL upgrade project.
Chalk Farm & Kentish Town
Delatim Electrical were responsible for installing all new CMS throughout the stations as past of the modernisation project. In addition Delatim Electrical were responsible for the installation of small power and lighting in the station Operations rooms and installation of contactor changeover within the switch rooms.
Connect Project
Delatim Electrical were responsible for the installation and testing of approx 20km of SWA power alarm cabling for the trackside amplifiers.

Covent Garden Congestion Relief Project
Delatim Construction carried out intrusive surveys within the station and the disused basement. Works included impulse radar for concrete reinforcement mapping and dimensional surveys, trial holes and core drilling.
Connect Project
Delatim Construction were responsible for enabling and installing new cable route infrastructure, works included installing new post route, chemical fixings, and decommissioning/removing old redundant cable route and cabling.
Jubilee Line 7th Car Project
Delatim Construction worked on all Jubilee Line stations enabling the existing platforms to allow for a 7th Carriage to be added to the trains. Delatim Construction were responsible for the decommissioning of the old OPO equipment, installing and adjusting the existing OPO system and installing new platform end barriers and repositioning of the station limit markers.
